Described by BBC 6 Music as a “queer renaissance man” and by Molchat Doma as “high IQ synthpop,” his sound blends the energy of Future Islands with the emotion of Perfume Genius. His acclaimed 2023 album Love Apokalypto (produced by Grammy-nominated Mikko Gordon) led to coverage from BBC Radio 6, Clash, and Attitude, and a European tour supporting Patrick Wolf.
Known for euphoric, high-energy live shows, Rhumba Club kicked off his HONCHO era with the single “Odyssey”, ahead of a new album coming Autumn 2025 via Alter K.
